Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya was seen offering prayers at the famous Somnath temple in Prabhas Patan, Gujarat amidst the ongoing captaincy struggles in the IPL 2024. Hardik, who replaced Rohit Sharma as captain of the franchise, has lost all the first 3 games in the tournament thus far.

The MI franchise players and support staff are on a break from IPL 2024 and are having some fun in Jamnagar. Mumbai will be back in action on 7 April against Delhi Capitals at home.

However, MI has suffered losses in its first three matches, losing to Gujarat Titans, got decimated by Sunrisers Hyderabad, and lost to Rajasthan Royals in their first home match at Wankhede Stadium.

In addition to this, the MI fans have not accepted Hardik Pandya as the franchise team captain. The all-rounder was traded in by Mumbai ahead of the IPL 2024 and was later named the captain, replacing Rohit Sharma. The captaincy change has not gone down well with MI fans as Rohit had won five IPL titles as Mumbai skipper.

Hardik Pandya has been booed by fans in all three MI matches so far. Also, the franchise has lost all the matches and is the only IPL team to not win a single game in the ongoing tournament.

To find some divine inspiration, Hardik Pandya visited the Somnath Mandir in Patan and offered prayers, and took blessings from the Bhagwan.
