IPL 2024: Mohit Sharma, Sai Sudharsan and David Miller star as GT defeats SRH by 7 wickets at home

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Gujarat Titans (GT) clashed in the 12^th match of the IPL 2024 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 31. Pat Cummins, SRH captain won the toss and chose to bat first in Ahmedabad.

However, their batting didn’t click together as the team which had scored more than 270 runs in their last T20 innings, only managed to post 162/8 in 20 overs. Abhishek Sharma (29), and Abdul Samad (29) were top-scored as none of the batters reached the 30-run mark.

For GT, Mohit Sharma was the pick of the bowlers as he took 3/25 in 4 overs.

In response, Shubman Gill (36) and Wriddhiman Saha added 36 runs for the first wicket. After they fell, Sai Sudharsan (45) and David Miller (44*) added 64 runs for the 3rd wicket and took Gujarat Titans home with 5 balls to spare and 7 wickets in hand.
