IPL 2024 opening ceremony to see Akshay Kumar, AR Rahman and Sonu Nigam amongst others performing

The opening ceremony of IPL 2024 will be held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

The IPL 2024 will begin on March 22 with a glittering opening ceremony at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The hosts Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the tournament's opening match. The opening ceremony will begin at 6.30 PM.

The preparations for the opening ceremony are in full swing and a glimpse of which was seen on social media. The opening ceremony this year is expected to be more extravagant than the ones in previous years.

Fans will be treated to an exciting pregame ceremony which will see performances from Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Also showcasing their musical brilliance will be singer Sonu Nigam and India’s first Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman.
