IPL 2024: WATCH- Rinku Singh smashes IPL’s most expensive player Mitchell Starc for a huge six in KKR practice game

Starc has returned to the IPL after 9 long years.

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise have been practicing hard for the IPL 2024. The two-time IPL winners had an amazing outing in the IPL 2024 auction where they broke the record by buying Mitchell Starc of Australia for INR 24.75 Cr.

KKR will begin their campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday and ahead of the game, the players engaged in an intra-squad practice match at the Eden Gardens. It was Team Purple against Team Gold and Starc was seen bowling in full flow for the Purple team.

However, he conceded runs in plenty with Rinku Singh on strike. Starc leaked 20 runs in the final over to end up with figures of 4-0-40-1.

A video from the practice match has gone viral in which Rinku Singh is seen hitting Starc for a six. The Aussie pacer erred in his length as he tried a yorker and Rinku deposited the full toss over midwicket boundary for a six.

Starc is returning to the IPL after 9 long years. He last played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2014 and 2015 seasons.
