Rajasthan Royals' special welcome for Dhruv Jurel went viral on internet.
India's wicketkeeper-batsman, Dhruv Jurel, joined the Rajasthan Royals (RR) training camp as they are gearing up for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024), starting on March 22.
Jurel recently made his debut for India during the five-match Test series against England, where he showcased his batting prowess by amassing 190 runs in four innings. He also impressed one and all with his glovework behind the stumps.
With the IPL looming just around the corner, the young keeper joined the Rajasthan Royals (RR) camp.
Recently, RR shared a heartwarming clip on the social media platform X, featuring Jurel’s welcome to the team hotel. In this special video, the Indian star received a grand welcome from his franchise and the hotel staff.
Once entering the hotel, the hotel staff did Jurel’s tilak and gave him a blue scarf.
When Jurel headed to the RR team rooms, he was surprised by the RR members and hotel staff, as they were saluting the Indian star one by one with each step towards his room. And the background music added extra emotion to the clip, which is now going viral on social media.
Sharing the clip on X, RR write in the caption: “The only way you deserve to be welcomed.”
