Michael Vaughan congratulated Smriti Mandhana and her RCB team for the WPL win.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan believes that 2024 might witness Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) achieving a rare feat by clinching both the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Women's Premier League (WPL) titles.
Vaughan’s comments came after Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Women won their maiden WPL title on Sunday, March 17, under the captaincy of Smriti Mandhana.
The RCB women’s team defeated the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 2024 WPL Final by 8 wickets to record a historic title win at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. This triumph marked the end of a 16-year wait for a championship title for RCB, as the men’s team has yet to win the IPL trophy.
