PBKS and DC will open their campaign by locking horns with each other on March 23 in Mohali.
With the 2024 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) around the corner, teams are unveiling their new jersey. On Saturday (March 16), Punjab Kings (PBKS) released their brand-new outfit via social media.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), PBKS posted a clip, highlighting different parts of their latest jersey. Skipper Shikhar Dhawan featured in the promo video.
The franchise stuck to the traditional red-silver shade with a bit of variation in the design of shirt. However, their trouser colour is blue this time around.
Besides PBKS, Delhi Capitals’ (DC) jersey was also launched on Saturday. DC’s kit sponsor, PUMA, unveiled the new-look jersey on social media platform X.
As per the post, the jersey weaves together Delhi’s heritage and innovation through its two lifelines — the historic city map and iconic metro line. The kit has the amalgamation of blue and red color.
While the IPL 2024 season is slated to get underway on March 22 with the CSK versus RCB clash at Chepauk, PBKS and DC will open their campaign by locking horns with each other on March 23 in Mohali.
