IPL 2024: WATCH- Rajasthan Royals unveil new design jersey in a video featuring Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal is the highest wicket-taker in IPL history.

The Rajasthan Royals (RR), champions of IPL 2008 and finalists in 2023, have unveiled their new design jersey for the upcoming IPL 2024 season. The announcement of the jersey was preceded by a funny WhatsApp banter between Yuzvendra Chahal, Jos Buttler, and Sanju Samson.

Both Chahal and Buttler were acquired of their services by a Jaipur-based franchise at the IPL 2022 auction and have been retained by the franchise since then. Buttler won the Orange Cap in IPL 2022 for most runs and Chahal won the Purple Cap for most wickets in the same season.

Rajasthan Royals shared a video featuring Yuzvendra Chahal to unveil their new look jersey. It showed Chahal designing the RR jersey for IPL 2024 and coming up with a quirky design. However, when he asks Jos Buttler for his thoughts on the design, he receives a negative review. RR captain Sanju Samson also rejects the jersey designed by Chahal.

Then Chahal receives the new jersey with a fresh design which Rajasthan Royals will wear in the IPL 2024.
