MS Dhoni will also sport the sticker of Prime Sports on his bat during IPL 2024.
Despite rumors of IPL 2023 being Dhoni’s last outing in the tournament, the cricketer said that he will continue to play to thank the fans for their support. One of those people is Chotu Bhaiya, real name Paramjit Singh. As seen in MS Dhoni’s biopic, Paramjit Singh owns the Prime Sports shop in Ranchi and helped MS Dhoni in getting his first kit sponsorship.
And recently, MS Dhoni was seen practicing at JSCA facilities with the sticker of Prime Sports on his bat, as a thank you to his friend for helping him in his struggling days.
Not only this, MS Dhoni gifted a signed bat to Paramjit Singh with a message reading: "Best wishes, Chhotu Bhaiya."
"I am feeling very proud of him. He has always been there for us. And this is our friendship. Friendship No. 1," he told Aaj Tak.
Dhoni is known for showing gratitude towards peopleorganizationstions who helped him in his early days. Notably in 2019 World Cup, Dhoni sported the stickers of SS and BAS, his first two biggest bat sponsors.
