The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the release of 'Invitation to Tender for Title Sponsor Rights' for the Indian Premier League (IPL) seasons 2024-2028. As of now, TATA group is the title sponsor of both the IPL and WPL.

The TATA group had taken over from Chinese mobile manufacturer Vivo back in 2022 due to political tensions at the time. Dream XI had taken over from Vivo in 2020 and then Vivo returned for 2021 IPL. But then pulled out of the title sponsorship with TATA taking over.

BCCI announced the news via an official press release on Tuesday, 12 December.
