Kohli scored 100 as RCB defeated SRH by 8 wickets.
Virat Kohli led the way with a superlative ton as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 8 wickets in a must-win game for RCB at Hyderabad on Thursday (May 18).
For the first time in IPL history, a hundred was scored in each innings of a game as Heinrich Klaasen struck 104 for SRH, who had set a target of 187 for RCB after being asked to bat first.
The target was expected to be a testing one for RCB, but Kohli (100) and Faf du Plessis (71) batted outstandingly well to put on 172 runs for the opening wicket, as RCB achieved the target with four balls to spare.

Kohli struck his sixth IPL hundred, first since 2019, as he smashed 12 fours and 4 sixes in his 63-ball knock which reminded many of his prime years in white-ball cricket. The former RCB captain has now struck a hundred and six fifties in the ongoing season for his 538 runs from 13 matches.
Kohli reached his ton with a six off Bhuvneshwar Kumar and then celebrated his milestone with joy.
His wife Anushka Sharma was over the moon as she posted an Instagram story to hail his innings.
