IPL 2023: WATCH - Shikhar Dhawan takes a brilliant running catch to dismiss DC counterpart David Warner

The PBKS captain did well to hold on to the ball despite his arms hitting the ground.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper Shikhar Dhawan left everyone stunned with a remarkable catch to dismiss his Delhi Capitals (DC) counterpart David Warner in Match 64 of IPL 2023 at HPCA Stadium, Dharamsala on Wednesday (May 17).

During the 11th over DC’s innings, Warner tried to smash a slower delivery from Sam Curran over mid-off but didn’t get the timing right and ended up splicing it in the air.

Dhawan ran across from cover and flew to his left to pluck the ball out of thin air. The PBKS captain did well to hold on to the ball despite his arms hitting the ground.

Thanks to his outstanding catch, Punjab Kings broke the 94-run opening stand between Prithvi Shaw and David Warner, who was dismissed for 46 off 31 balls.
