SRH finished on 182/6 thanks to Klaasen and Samad's knocks.
SRH captain Aiden Markram won the toss and chose to bat first. SRH brought in Fazalhaq Farooqui for Marco Jansen. On the other hand, Yudhvir Singh and Prerak Mankad came in for Mohsin Khan and Deepak Hooda for LSG.
Yudhvir Singh struck early by removing Abhishek Sharma for 7 runs and Yash Thakur struck gold by dismissing the dangerous Rahul Tripathi for 20. Amit Mishra then had Anmolpreet Singh caught and bowled for 36 runs.
Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen then tried to stabilize the SRH innings with the skipper making 28 and looking good.
But then in the 13th over, LSG skipper Krunal Pandya landed two big blows. First, he got a ball top spin enough from the leg stump to beat Markram on his outside edge and was stumped easily by Quinton de Kock.
Then on the very next ball. Pandya bowled a similar delivery and this time new batter Glenn Phillips tried to defend it on the back foot. But the ball beat his edge and crashed into his stumps.
