Yuzvendra Chahal, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) spinner, said that his team still has the chance to qualify for the playoffs, and as a unit, they must forget the four-wicket loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their recent match in IPL 2023.

Sandeep Sharma had to defend 17 runs in the last over and he did well right up to the last ball where things turned upside down for the hosts.

Sandeep Sharma bowled a no-ball on the last ball and RR's joy turned to horror as Abdul Samad of Sunrisers Hyderabad then hit a six, giving his team a 4-wicket victory in the match as they chased down 214 runs.

Rajasthan is at 4th spot in IPL 2023 points table with 10 points from 5 wins in 11 matches and Chahal reacted to the same.

IPL 2023: ‘He’ll be regretting the no-ball forever”- L Balaji on Sandeep Sharma costing RR the match against SRH

“It will take time, but still, three matches are there, and if we win our remaining three games, we are still in the hunt for play-offs. It is part of the game. We will storm back together. The sooner we will forget this match the better it will be for us,” he said in the post-match presser.

Yuzvendra Chahal was the pick of the bowlers for the Royals. He finished with 4/29 in four overs, including two wickets in the 18th over. In doing so, he also equaled Dwayne Bravo's all-time IPL wickets tally of 183 scalps.

I was just backing myself and my strength. I was focusing more on my length and don’t want to bowl it too fuller,” he added.

RR will next face Kolkata Knight Riders in Kolkata on May 11.
