Saha made 81 runs and Gill made 94* as GT posted 227/2 in 20 overs.
After being put into bat by LSG captain Krunal Pandya, GT got a massive opening partnership as Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill hammered the LSG bowlers to all parts of the Motera Stadium. The duo added 142 runs for the first wicket in just 12.3 overs.
Saha was the aggressor as he hammered 10 fours and 4 sixes in his 43-ball 81-run stay, before holding out in the deep off the bowling of Avesh Khan.
However, Shubman Gill continued the assault as he made 94* in 51 balls with 7 sixes and 2 fours to his name and with Hardik Pandya scoring 25 and 15 balls with two sixes and 14 and with David Miller also hammering 21 not out in 12 volts Gujarat Titans posted a massive 227 for 2 in the 20 overs.
When Gujarat Titans came out to defend the total there was a bit of a delay as there was no wicketkeeper in sight. After some time Saha came out with his gear on but many of the eagle-eyed fans noticed that the wicketkeeper had his friends the other way around.
Sponsors logos which are usually on the front of the trousers were seen on the back of the trousers that Saha wore. After the first two overs, Saha was replaced as the keeper by KS Bharat.
