KL Rahul patiently listened to what Kohli had to explain after the fiery incident.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Virat Kohli was the main character of the after-match and during-match happenings in their IPL 2023 clash with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Ekana stadium on May 1.
Kohli was involved in a fiery altercation with Naveen Ul Haq during the match and the two had a word about something when they shook hands after the match. Then LSG opener Kyle Mayers chided him about his ‘keep quiet’ gesture after taking Krunal Pandya’s catch, before being pulled away by LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir.
Post this, Kohli and Gambhir got into a face-off and some words were spoken between the two before they were pulled apart by players form both sides.
After all this happened, Virat Kohli was seen in conversation with LSG captain KL Rahul, who had injured himself while fielding and only managed came out to bat at no.11.
Kohli was seen explaining everything that happened to Rahul, who patiently listened to the senior player. The LSG skipper even tried to broker peace between Kohli and Naveen and gestured the Afghan pacer to join the conversation, but Naveen rebuked the effort.
