IPL 2023: WATCH- Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis go after Glenn Maxwell in nets after getting beaten by him

RCB will clash with LSG at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Monday.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) prepared well for their upcoming IPL 2023 match against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Lucknow on Monday, May 1. Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis were tackling the spinners well given the spin friendly pitch in Ekana Stadium.

However, things got funny and serious at the same time, thanks to some banter by Glenn Maxwell, who was seen in a video posted by the RCB on social media.

Maxwell was watching Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli tackle and dominate the spinners in the nets and was heard praising the leg-spin duo of Wanindu Hasaranga and Karn Sharma who were giving some hard time to the experienced RCB openers.

Then Maxwell himself decided to bowl and even beat the two batters with his guile and spin.

But then Faf and Kohli got the better of him and blasted the Australian all-rounder’s deliveries everywhere.

“I did the right thing, but he is still hitting six,” said Maxwell after Kohli danced down the track and hit him over deep mid-wicket.
