The IPL 2023 mini-auction is currently taking place in Kochi with 405 cricketers vying for 87 vacant slots in the 10 franchise teams.

Fierce bidding war happened for players such as Harry Brook and Mayank Agarwal in the first set of capped batters while Joe Root and Rilee Rossouw going unsold was another talking point.

In the second set, capped all-rounders were up for grabs and England’s Sam Curran hogged the headlines by becoming the most expensive player in the history of IPL auction
