Kohli made 25 runs in RCB's win over LSG in the Eliminator match.
RCB defeated LSG by 14 runs after setting them a target of 208 runs after being asked to bat first as LSG captain KL Rahul won the toss. Rajat Patidar made 112* with 12 fours and 7 sixes, while Dinesh Karthik made 37* and Virat Kohli contributed 25 runs.
In reply, KL Rahul with 79 and Deepak Hooda with 45 led the attack, but LSG left it a little too late to the final charge and in the end fell 14 runs short.
Meanwhile, though Virat Kohli made only 25 runs, he played some soul-warming shots and one of the drives played on the offside against Dushmantha Chameera elicited a brilliant reaction for Sourav Ganguly who was in the stands, as BCCI secretary Jay Shah clapped as well.
