Suryakumar Yadav's post praising Riyan Parag's "attitude" caused a social media uproar. What appeared to be standard praise from Surya for Parag was met with outrage on Twitter, with some fans even begging Suryakumar to remove the remark.

"Amazing attitude on the field #riyanparag #RRvGT," tweeted Surykaumar during the Gujarat Titans vs Rajasthan Royals IPL 2022 Qualifier 1 match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Tuesday.

Suryakumar's tweet came after Parag was seen in a foul mood during the first qualifier.

On Tuesday, Parag triggered a Twitter argument in more ways than one. After a mix-up with the senior cricketer culminated in the former's run-out in the penultimate over of the RR innings, the youthful all-rounder was seen screaming his fury at R Ashwin.

Then, he made an angry gesture towards Devdutt Padikkal, telling him to cover the ball after he had fielded it.

Parag, who was standing at a fairly straight long-on, made quick ground, slid, and stopped the ball from crossing the line. Parag was spotted jumping up and yelling at Padikkal for not backing up. Padikkal was deep in the middle of the wicket.
