Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) Umran Malik was not at his very best in Match 50 of the IPL 2022 against Delhi Capitals (DC), but that didn’t stop the speedster from shattering his own record of the fastest delivery bowled this season.

During the last over of DC’s innings, Umran hurled a delivery clocking 157 kmph to set a new record for this season. It was also the second fastest delivery bowled in the history of IPL, behind Shaun Tait’s 157.71 kmph.

In the 20th over, Umran also clocked the speed of 153 kmph, 154 kmph and 156 kmph. Unfortunately for him, the over went for 20 runs and he returned with the expensive figures of 0 for 52 in his four overs.

Nonetheless, the SRH pace sensation took the cricket fraternity by storm once again with his fiery spell.

Twitterati were in awe of Umran Malik’s raw pace and they showered rich praise on him.
