Yuzvendra Chahal and Shimron Hetmyer have been the backbone of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.
While the leg-spinner is currently the leading wicket-taker in the IPL 15 season with 17 scalps to his name, the West Indian batter has played some exceptional cameos during the death overs to power his team to big totals. Hetmyer has scored 223 runs in 6 matches so far at an average and strike rate of 74.33 and 179.83, respectively.
In RR’s recent encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Chahal turned the game for his side. The wrist-spinner etched his name into the record book as he took his maiden hat-trick in the IPL and returned with the figures of 5/40.
Hetmyer too played a crucial role as he smashed 26* runs in just 13 balls to take his side to the gigantic total of 217 runs.

While the duo helped RR win the match with their performances, they also stole the limelight ahead of the game. The pair was seen wrestling with each other.
It was during RR’s pre-match practice session when Chahal challenged Hetmyer for the wrestling match. In the video, that went viral on Twitter, the wrist-spinner can be seen holding the southpaw by his legs while the latter tries to free himself.
