Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain KL Rahul has been fined 20% of his match fee for an unspecified breach of the Code of Conduct during the 31st match of the ongoing IPL 2022 between LSG and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on April 19 at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Rahul admitted to the "Level 1 offense" of the IPL Code of Conduct and "accepted the sanction". In addition, LSG all-rounder Marcus Stoinis was also reprimanded for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the same match against RCB on Tuesday. He also accepted the sentence.

Stoinis' code of conduct breach was not specified, but the Australian star was seen arguing with the on-field umpire when Josh Hazlewood was bowling during LSG’s 18-run defeat against RCB.
