Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Hardik Pandya on Thursday (14th April) was seen imitating Rashid Khan’s bowling action ahead of their match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Pune.

Hardik’s return to cricket has been exceptional. Not only with his all-round skills, but he has impressed many with his captaincy as well. Under him, GT has won four out of its five matches and is at the top of the points table with 8 points to its name.

The all-rounder has led from the front and is one of the main reasons behind his team’s success in the ongoing IPL 15. Batting at No.4, he has so far scored 228 runs from 5 games with a healthy average of 76. With the ball, Pandya has taken four wickets at an economy of 7.30.

The 28-year-old recently scored his first half-century of the tournament against SRH in Mumbai. He followed his fifty with a sensational 87* runs in GT’s recent encounter against RR. The all-rounder had a match to remember as after his heroics with the bat he produced a stunning effort in the field to run out Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson before taking the wicket of Jimmy Neesham.

Ahead of the match, he shared a light moment with his team’s ace spinner Rashid Khan. The GT skipper was seen copying the bowling style of the leg-spinner, who along with Rahul Tewatia burst into laughter after watching their captain’s gesture.

In the video, Pandya can be seen gripping the ball like Rashid before delivering and running in follow through like the leg-spinner.
