Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan gave PBKS the best start, adding 97 runs for the opening wicket. Mayank scored his first half-century as Punjab Kings captain making 52 in 32 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes to his name. Shikhar Dhawan made 70 in 49 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes.

Then MI came back strongly with two quick wickets as Jonny Bairstow was clean bowled by Jaydev Unadkat for 12 runs, and then came the big wicket of Liam Livingstone.
Livingstone has been in terrific form, and that’s why Rohit Sharma gave the ball to Jasprit Bumrah and he, in the 15th over, sent down a picture-perfect yorker to shatter Livingstone’s stumps, sending him back for 2 runs in 3 balls only.
