KL Rahul became the 3rd batter to get out first ball twice in one IPL season.
Starting the defense of 165 runs, RR pacer Trent Boult came around the wicket and clean bowled KL Rahul with an in-swinger and castled him. This was the second time Rahul got out on the first ball in this IPL 2022, making him only the third batter to achieve the distinction of getting two golden ducks in one IPL season.
The other two batters were Sanath Jayasuriya of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2009 and Unmukt Chand for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2013.
