Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will face off in the 20th match of the ongoing IPL 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 10, 2022. Lucknow has 3 wins from 4 matches, while Rajasthan has 2 wins from 3 matches.

LSG is coming off a win over Delhi Capitals in their last match, while RR suffered a loss at the hands of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both the teams have experienced some problems with their playing combination and some players have become available as well ahead of this important clash.

Keeping this in mind, team COC presents to you the Predicted Playing XIs for the RR v LSG IPL 2022 match.

RAJASTHAN ROYALS

Rajasthan Royals are definitely in good form, despite their loss to RCB in their last game of the IPL 2022. Royals are a batting-heavy side, with the likes of Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer providing the fireworks. But Yashasvi Jaiswal has failed to come good on a consistent basis and Devdutt Padikkal is more suited to opening the batting.

This will open up a slot in the middle order where someone like Rassie van der Dussen can come in, and play the role of someone who can rotate the strike and around whom the hitters can go bang-bang without worrying about losing the wickets.

A bigger worry for RR has been their fifth bowling option. Navdeep Saini has been very expensive despite being given a long run, with an economy of 12 from six overs he has bowled so far. They can also opt for Obed McCoy instead of a foreigner, or hand a debut to Kuldeep Sen of Madhya Pradesh who has a reputation for bowling at a brisk pace.

LUCKNOW SUPER GIANTS

Lucknow Super Giants are no mugs with the bat as they have covered all of their bases. KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock have done well at the top.

Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, and Ayush Badoni have been excellent in the middle and at the death, with additional support coming from Jason Holder who can do the big-hitting.

Now, both their bowling and batting will be strengthened as they are set to welcome Marcus Stoinis, who becomes available for selection. He is expected to replace Evin Lewis, who has done a decent job at the no.3 spot, but his struggles against spin are well known.

K Gowtham and Ravi Bishnoi were excellent with the ball in their last match, while Avesh Khan has done extremely well with both the new ball and in death, while Holder takes advantage of the swing offered at the start.

But their other pacers have been an issue for them as Andrew Tye has gone for 9.72 runs an over in three matches so far. This might be the right time for LSG to bring back Dushmantha Chameera into the side, as he brings some lethal pace with him, capable of rattling the opposition batting.

RR COC Predicted Playing XI:

Devdutt Padikkal, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Rassie van der Dussen, Shimron Hetmyer, Riyan Parag, R Ashwin, Kuldeep Sen, Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, Yuzvendra Chahal

LSG COC Predicted Playing XI:

KL Rahul (C), Quinton de Kock (WK), Marcus Stoinis, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, Ayush Badoni, Jason Holder, K Gowtham, Avesh Khan, Dushmantha Chameera, Ravi Bishnoi
