New Zealand all-rounder James Neesham is one of the most popular and funniest cricketers on social media and once more he showed off his skills as he trolled the Rajasthan Royals (RR) fans with a retirement announcement.

After a practice session with his new IPL franchise, Neesham announced his retirement from "bowling to Riyan Parag" in the nets. Neesham also shared a video and revealed the reason behind announcing his retirement.

This came after Riyan Parag almost smacked Neesham in his face as he hit a full-blooded drive back at the all-rounder, who barely managed to evade the ball and was floored, almost having his heart in his mouth.

Following the incident, Neesham decided to pull off a prank on his followers and teased a retirement announcement.

While RR have started off well in the IPL 2022 season, having won 2 out 3 matches, Neesham is yet to make his RR debut. However, with Riyan Parag in no form at all, with 17 runs in 2 innings and is wicketless in 3 matches, Neesham might get his chance to don the pink jersey when RR face off against Lucknow Super Giants in the 20th match of IPL 2022 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Sunday (April 10).
