IPL 2022: “Still two years younger for it”, Amit Mishra’s hilarious reply to a fan asking him to play for CSK

Mishra is among the highest wicketkeeper of all time in the IPL.

Veteran spinner Amit Mishra on Friday (April 8) gave a hilarious reply to a fan asking him to play for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

“Sir, pls come to CSK,” the fan asked Mishra in a tweet.

To which, the 39-year-old responded: “Sorry mate, Still two years younger for it.”, referring to the old age of many CSK players in general over the years.

Notably, Amit Mishra has played for the now-defunct Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and Delhi Capitals (DC) in the cash-rich league.

He is among the highest wicketkeeper of all time in the IPL. Mishra has played 154 IPL matches in total, claiming 166 wickets at an economy rate of 7.35.
