Dwaine Pretorius, who was purchased in the mega IPL auction by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for INR 50 lakhs, is off to a good start in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. The pacer is in his first IPL season and has played in two games for CSK so far. The South African all-rounder also has his family by his side, as he took his son to a recent training session, who became the centre of attention of everyone.

The defending champions are currently on a losing streak and are yet to win a game in the IPL 2022. They have lost all three matches in a row.
Chennai was defeated by Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 54 runs in their previous match.
CSK were bowled out for 126 in 18 overs while chasing a 181-run target. Shivam Dube's half-century (57 off 30 balls) was unable to propel the franchise to victory.
For PBKS, Liam Livingstone scored 60 runs off 32 balls. Two wickets were also taken by the Englishman when he came on to bowl.
