RCB has played two games so far this season, winning one (against KKR) and losing the other (against PBKS).
The Royal Challengers Bangalore fell by 5 wickets against the Punjab Kings in their opening match of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League, which was a high-scoring affair, as they failed to defend 206 on the board.
The second match, against the Kolkata Knight Riders, was a low-scoring thriller. KKR were bowled out for 128 runs after losing the toss and being asked to bat first. Andre Russel scored the most runs (25 off 18 balls). The Kolkata bowlers put up a determined effort to take the game to the final over, where Dinesh Kartik, a former Kolkata player, and captain, completed the job and helped his side earn their first win of the season.
