Pravin Tambe's biopic was screened for KKR players.
Veteran leg-spinner Pravin Tambe broke into tears after watching his biopic with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad.
Tambe made his debut at the age of 41 for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2013 and then also represented the now-defunct Gujarat Lions in the league. He was picked by KKR in the IPL 2020 auction, making him the oldest player to be bought at the age of 48 years.
However, his participation in the league came under clouds after BCCI denied him to play and stated that he had played in a foreign league, the T-10 league in Abu Dhabi. Tambe was then roped in as a part of the KKR coaching staff ahead of the IPL 2020.

Senior cricketer's biopic 'Kaun Pravin Tambe?' was officially released on Friday (1st April) and was screened for all the KKR players. After the movie, Tambe shared a speech and got emotional. He said, “I just want to say. Just never give up on your dreams. Dreams do come true. Really, dreams do come true.
Tambe further went on to say that his biopic will show people what he did before he made his debut. He hoped that the movie will inspire many to ‘Never Give Up’.
"Lot of people know that I debuted when I was 41, but they don't know what I did before that. So people will watch the movie and get to know and hopefully it will make them think that one should never give up," said Pravin Tambe.
Skipper Shreyas Iyer also shared his thoughts about the movie. He said that they were waiting for the movie to get realised. He called it emotional and said Tambe’s speech, in the end, was teary.
"We were quite excited to watch the movie, and today we finally got to see it. It was emotional, the songs were also nice, and then hearing his speech at the end, I was a little teary at the end," Shreyas Iyer said in a video posted on KKR’s Twitter account.

Tambe played 33 matches in IPL. He took 28 wickets at an average of 30.46 and an economy of 7.75 runs. He also had a four-wicket haul league and a hat-trick to his name.
