CSK put on a healthy 210/7 thanks to 50 from Robin Uthappa, 49 from Shivam Dube. Moeen Ali also made 35, while Ambati Rayudu contributed 27 runs. For LSG, Avesh Khan, Andrew Tye, and Ravi Bishnoi picked two wickets each.
CSK made a comeback with Manish Pandey falling for 5 and Deepak Hooda for 13, but then Evin Lewis (55* in 23 balls) and a cameo from Ayush Badoni (19* in 9 balls with 2 sixes) did the damage in the end.

The game-changer over came in the 19th one when Shivam Dube was smashed for 25 runs when 34 runs were needed in 12 balls. He was hit for 2 sixes and 2 fours with Ayush Badoni and Lewis getting stuck into him.
