IPL 2022: Tim Southee gets married to fiancee Brya Fahy; KKR sends warm wishes to the pacer

Southee will play for KKR in IPL 2022.

New Zealand pacer Tim Southee, who will play for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2022, shared a photo of his marriage to his fiancee, Brya Fahy, on March 20, 2022.

Southee, a veteran of the Black Caps team and occasional captain as well, has played 85 Tests, 143 ODIs, and 91 T20I matches since making his debut in 2008. He has 338 Test, 190 ODI, and 111 T20I wickets to his name.

He was also part of the New Zealand team which won the inaugural ICC World Test Championship, beating India in the final at Southampton last year.

The right-arm pacer has been with Brya Fahy for a long time and the couple has two daughters- Indie May Southee and Sloane Ava Southee, together. The couple got engaged in 2019 and now got married as well.

Southee shared the photo of him and now wife Brya Southee together on Instagram with a caption reading: “Forever”.

Southee was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2022 auction for INR 1.5 crores and the franchise wished him as well on Instagram with their caption reading: “Congratulations @tim_southee & @bryasouthee See you soon.

The IPL 2022 begins on March 26 with KKR taking on CSK in the opening match in Wankhede Stadium.
