On PBKS’ head coach Anil Kumble, the skipper note: “Anil sir is quite a strict and hard taskmaster when it comes to things on the field, and he’s quite chilled outside. We share a great rapport, and I’m really looking forward to working with him.”

He also opened up about the team combination and hopes that at the end of the IPL 15, they will have something to cheer about. The PBKS will start their IPL 2022 campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 27 at DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai.

Having come here and been part of the team for a day, the vibe is good, the energy is good, and I am sure at the end of the season we are definitely going to do something that we can all cheer about.”
