IPL 2022 Auction: Tim David joins MI for a hefty sum in accelerated auction

Vaibhav Arora and Prashant Solanki broke the crore rupee bid mark.

The IPL 2022 Auction saw the accelerated auction process begin with 106 players going under the hammer in a quick process on the second day of the two-day event in Bengaluru.

After Jofra Archer got a bid of INR 8 crores from MI and Romario Shepherd went to SRH for a whopping sum of INR 7.75 crores; Tymal Mills went to MI for INR 1.5 crores, while Mitchell Santner and Adam Milne joined Devon Conway at the Chennai Super Kings for INR 1.9 crores each.

While most of the players in this list went unsold like Andrew Tye, Sandeep Warrier, and Reece Topley, some of the names garnered quite an interest.

The biggest of which proved to be Tim David. He was bought by Mumbai Indians for INR 8.25 crores.
