IPL 2022 Auction: RCB signs Wanindu Hasaranga, Krunal Pandya joins Deepak Hooda in Lucknow

Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga was part of RCB last season in second leg.

Hugh Edmeades, the auctioneer, had collapsed during the bidding of Wanindu Hasaranga and the IPL 2022 mega-auction was paused in the middle of set 3 with capped all-rounders. It resumed with Hasaranga's bidding and Charu Sharma took over the auction proceedings.

The Sri Lankan all-rounder with a base price of INR 1 crore was sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for INR 10.75 crore. India's spin bowling all-rounder Washington Sundar got signed for INR 8.75 crore to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Punjab Kings (PBKS), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Sunrisers Hyderabad SRH), and Gujarat Titans (GT) showed interest in India all-rounder Krunal Pandya. Lucknow made the final bid for Krunal and he will be joining his ex-Baroda teammate Deepak Hooda.
