While the franchise retained four key players, they had to let go some big names in Faf du Plessis, Dwayne Bravo, Suresh Raina, Josh Hazlewood, and many others.
They will be entering the IPL 2022 auction with a purse of INR 48 crores. A total of 590 players will go under the hammer, among which 370 are Indian while 220 are overseas players. The event will take place in Bengaluru on 12th and 13 February.
With just a few days remaining for the mega auction, CSK took to their official Twitter account and asked fans to pick their squad ahead of the event.
“Superfans Assemble! Pick your Super Squad you wish to see in Yellove!" CSK Tweeted.
Their comment section was flooded with many responses as fans named different combinations.
While Faf du Plessis was the common name in almost every squad, many named Shahrukh Khan along with Kagiso Rabada in their team. Some even picked the duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav in their squad.
