"Do keep me in your prayers for auction," - Sreesanth after making it to the final list of IPL 2022 auction

Sreesanth had registered for the IPL auction last year as well, but he wasn't shortlisted for final list.

Former India fast bowler Sreesanth has made it to the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) mega-auction list. He had registered his name for the IPL auction last year too, but couldn't make it to the final list.

This year after being shortlisted for the IPL 2022 mega-auction, Sreesanth took to Twitter to post a heartfelt message for his fans for the support. He has been registered for the player auction at a base price of Rs 50 lakh.

"Love u all..can’t thank u all enough..lots of gratitude. Thnks a lot..#grateful and alwys will be grateful to each and every try one of u..plss do keep me in ur prayers for final auction too..”om Nama Shivaya.. (sic)," wrote the speedster.

A total of 590 players, including 228 capped, 355 uncapped and seven cricketers from associate nations will go under the hammer. The auction is scheduled to be held in Bengaluru on February 12-13.

The 38-year-old had made his competitive comeback in January last year, after serving his seven-year ban for alleged role in IPL 2013 spot-fixing scandal.
