IPL 2022: Complete list of retained players, draft picks ahead of mega auction

Retained players and cricketers picked in draft won't feature in the mega auction.

A total of 1,214 players (896 Indian and 318 overseas) have registered to be a part of the mega IPL 2022 auction, the Indian Premier League confirmed in a statement on Saturday (January 22).

The list features 270 capped, 903 uncapped and 41 Associate players. 59 players from Australia have put forward their names for the IPL 2022 auction – the most from a foreign country.

The registered players will be up for grabs in the IPL 2022 mega auction, slated for February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru.

The mega auction will see 10 teams bidding for players, but there are some big names that won't be part of the auction pool as they have either been retained by their respective sides or chosen as draft picks by the two new IPL franchises – Lucknow and Ahmedabad.
