Harbhajan Singh announced his retirement from all forms of the game.
He continued soldiering on in the Indian Premier League, where he spent a decade playing for Mumbai Indians (MI), whom he also captained in the inaugural edition in 2008. He won the IPL thrice with the Blue Brigade in 2013, 2015, and 2017.

MI paid tribute to Harbhajan Singh saying, “You turned many games for India. You won many for MI. You took to the field and played with passion for all the teams you represented over your long career! Happy retirement, Turbanotor”
Harbhajan Singh was then bought by Chennai Super Kings ahead of their return to the fold in IPL 2018. He helped the MS Dhoni-led side win the tournament that year, but was then released from the side ahead of the IPL 2021 auction.
CSK tweeted their message on Harbhajan’s retirement saying, “அன்புடன் நன்றி @harbhajan_singh ! Wishing a happy retirement to the legend, who always spins our heart with entertainment!”
Kolkata Knight Riders then bought Harbhajan Singh for IPL 2021 and though he played three matches in the entire season for them, he played a huge role as a mentor to the likes of Varun Chakravarthy and Pawan Negi in the side.
KKR tweeted,” बेमिसाल, 23 साल! Wishing you all the best for your next chapter, Bhajji pa”
Harbhajan Singh is expected to join a major IPL franchise as part of the coaching staff or as a mentor as per media reports a few days back.
Other IPL franchises also took to Twitter to send warm wishes to Harbhajan Singh for his second innings post cricket.
