Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are interested in owning an Indian Premier League (IPL) team. The 2022 season of the IPL is set to have two new franchises, which will increase the number of teams to ten.
The IPL governing body had invited bids to acquire the rights of two new teams for the upcoming season, and the latest report on Deepika and Ranveer entering the bidding is going viral on social media.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik posted a joke after the news started circulating on Twitter. He wrote that the jersey of the team owned by Ranveer is going to be interesting as he is famous for his funky dressing.
