Krunal Pandya couldn't add crucial runs in Mumbai Indians' innings against Delhi Capitals.
Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Krunal Pandya left fans on social media disappointed after he once again failed to put on a decent all-round performance against Delhi Capitals (DC). MI, who are in desperate need of wins to stay in contention for playoffs, lost the match by 4 wickets on Saturday (October 2).
Batting first, MI put up a small total of 129/8 in 20 overs. Apart from Suyrakumar Yadav, who scored 33 runs off 26 deliveries, no other Mumbai batter could cross the 20-run mark.

Krunal remained not out till the end but he managed only one six and a four in his 15-ball stay. He scored only 12 runs with a strike rate of 86.67 when MI needed some quick runs.
The southpaw got more criticism after Jayant Yadav scored 11 runs off just four deliveries which included a six and a four. Fans felt Yadav added more value to the total than Krunal despite a longer stay in the middle.
With the ball, Krunal picked up only one wicket; dismissing Prithvi Shaw. He had to defend four runs in the final over, but a six by R Ashwin off the first delivery sealed the match for DC.
