Yashasvi Jaiswal laid the foundation of RR's successful run-chase with a quickfire fifty.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was happy after getting Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni's signature on his bat. Jaiswal earned the honor after playing a terrific knock for his team on Saturday (October 2).
The youngster scored a quickfire 50 off 21 deliveries in a run chase of 190 runs in Abu Dhabi. Apart from him, Shivam Dube smashed unbeaten 64 runs to help RR win the match by 7 wickets and keep their hopes for playoffs alive.
"I was thinking about looking at the wicket first, but we were chasing 190, I knew the wicket must be good. I was just looking at capitalizing on the loose balls and giving my team a good start so that we are able to chase 190," Jaiswal told teammates Anuj Rawat and Dube in a video posted on iplt20.com.
Jaiswal revealed he got his bat signed by Dhoni and he's delighted about it. "I took the signature of MS Dhoni on my bat after the match, I am really happy," he added.
The youngster later posted pictures getting his jersey and bat signed by Dhoni, as he wrote, “What a moment meeting the legendary @mahi7781 sir and greatly elated by getting his signature on my bat. Always an inspiration!”
