Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has named three Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) stars that the franchise might not retain after the IPL 2021 ends. The SRH team has won just a single game from 9 matches thus far and has been ruled out of the playoffs.

In what can be termed as a horror show performance by the 2016 IPL champions, they had changed their head coach ahead of the IPL 2021 and then replaced David Warner with Kane Williamson as captain mid-tournament.

But this did halt their downfall as one of the most consistent teams in the IPL, SRH has hit rock-bottom in the league standings.

Speaking ahead of SRH's encounter with Rajasthan Royals (RR) of the IPL 2021, Manjrekar opined that the Hyderabad management should look at the future more than the ongoing season. He named three players whom SRH should release after IPL 2021 and go for fresh faces in the mega IPL 2022 auction.

"I think, in that category, they've got to have people like David Warner, who seems lost at the moment in that team. Manish Pandey, we have seen the best of Manish Pandey, the worst of Manish Pandey. They might want to look at somebody who contributes a little more consistently. Kedar Jadhav is another player whom they could replace,Manjrekar said in a video uploaded on his Instagram account.

SRH now has 5 games to save some face and end their IPL 2021 on a winning note.
