KL Rahul-led Punjab Kings (PBKS) were at their best as they defended a small target of 126 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in match 37 of IPL 2021 on Saturday (25 September) at Sharjah.

While batters found it difficult to survive and get going on a slow Sharjah wicket, bowlers had a great day, especially PBKS spinner Ravi Bishnoi, who returned figures of 3-24 in his 4 overs.

After this fantastic 5-run win over SRH, PBKS' Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh had a chat in a video posted on iplt20.com. In this video, the leg-spinner explained his strategy of bowling wicket-to-wicket at Sharjah.

IPL 2021: There was a clear plan for Sharjah, says Aiden Markram after PBKS win over SRH

I did not play the last game but I was ready. I was preparing myself to put in a winning performance for my side whenever I get the chance. This was on my mind, we were defending a low score, I was thinking about bowling wicket-to-wicket and not conceding too many runs,” Bishnoi told Arshdeep Singh.

Everyone was confident even after losing the game against Rajasthan Royals, we wanted to give a good performance. We have lost few close games, but this time we registered a win against SunRisers Hyderabad,” he added.

SRH batting struggled to get going apart from Jason Holder scored superb 47* (29) with the bat and had also picked 3-19 with the ball.

There is nothing like specialist, I am just feeling nice to do the responsibility the team has entrusted me with. The team has won and it was a nice feeling. I was trying to bowl outside the arc of Jason Holder,” Arshdeep told Bishnoi.

PBKS will next face Mumbai Indians (MI) on Tuesday (28 September) at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
