Opening the innings, Virat shared a 111-run stand with Devdutt Padikkal to lay the foundation for RCB’s big total. He took on all the CSK bowlers and scored 53 off 41 balls before getting out in the 14th over.

During the 5th over of RCB’s innings, Virat Kohli executed a no-look six off Shardul over deep mid-wicket. It was a trademark Kohli shot as he generated power through his bottom hand to send the ball into the stands.
