Delhi Capitals (DC) who were at their best in the first-phase of IPL 2021, continued from where they left off in the second-leg as the tournament was shifted to UAE owing to COVID-19 condition across India.

The Delhi-based franchise displayed an all-round performance against SRH as pace bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje helped the side in restricting SRH to a paltry 134/9 in their 20 overs and batters Shreyas Iyer (47*) and Rishabh Pant (35*) ensured Capitals complete an 8-wicket win.

After the match, the South African pacers Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada chatted about their win against the Orange Army.

IPL 2021: 'Getting Rohit out in any format is good; he is a key wicket for MI', says Sunil Narine

I had the same plan as we always to do. That was to bowl hard lengths. We could have gone for yorkers, but it all depends on what is working on the day. It was nice to be bowling out there with you again,” Rabada told Nortje in a video posted by IPL on Twitter.

I generally do not think about wickets, I just focus on what is going to work. Wickets are just a byproduct,” he added.

With these two points, DC became the table toppers of IPL 2021 with 14 points to their name in 9 matches. Thus, the right-arm quick Nortje then talked about playing for the Rishabh Pant-led franchise.

Yeah, it was good. Really enjoyed being out there with the boys once again. It has been a long time, to be out there in Dubai where we started a year ago, was really nice,” the South African pacer said.
