The encounter between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) is called the 'El Clásico' of the Indian Premier League (IPL). There are high chances of a close finish when CSK and MI, two of the best teams in the league clash against each other.

The five-time champions Mumbai have the domination over CSK when it comes to head-to-head winning percentage, but it hardly matters when they come out for a new challenge.

The Super Kings members Lungi Ngidi, Mitchell Santner, Suresh Raina, and even the head coach Stephen Fleming opened up on the high-voltage competition against Mumbai Indians, and the second phase of IPL 2021.

"Fired up for the ⚔️ ???? Pre Match Mood ft. Super Fam #CSKvMI #WhistlePodu #Yellove ????????," wrote CSK's Instagram account while posting the video.

CSK have 7 matches remaining in the IPL 2021 and they need to win at least 3 matches to reach the playoffs, having already won 5 out of the first seven matches. But it won't be enough to secure a spot in the top two on the points table and they would be eyeing at least 4-5 more wins from here.

A win against MI to kick-off phase two of IPL 2021 could set the tone for CSK who struggled in the last season at UAE.
