MS Dhoni has been looking in fine form before the IPL 2021 second phase.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is looking to find his mojo back before the second half of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Dhoni was seen smashing the bowlers all around the ground in an intra-squad practice match.
The official Twitter account of CSK posted the video on Twitter and showed fans a glimpse of what's coming up from their beloved 'Thala' Dhoni. CSK will play Mumbai Indians on Sunday (September 19) in Dubai.
"All arealayum Thala...????," wrote Super Kings while posting the compilation of lofty shots. Dhoni was not going easy against any bowler, whether it was a pacer or spinner.
CSK had started their training session in August and Dhoni was among the players to be a part of the franchise's camp from the start. The 40-year-old wasn't very effective in the first phase of IPL 2021 and he would have got a reality check.
No wonder, Dhoni is working hard in the nets ahead of the second phase. He isn't a regular cricketer now after retiring from international cricket last year.
CSK would benefit immensely if their captain returns to form as it will provide added strength to an already strong batting line-up. They are also looking good on the points table with five wins in seven matches.
